Voting, Martin Luther and Expository Preaching

How Should Christians Vote?  — This FREE audiobook authored by Dr.Toni Evans offers great insight on how should a Christian vote. I became interested in this book because I always liked Toni’s view on politics and the role of the church in society.  Here is a statement from his website: “Through his local church and national ministry Dr. Evans promotes a Kingdom agenda philosophy that teaches God’s comprehensive rule over every sphere of life as demonstrated through the individual, family, church and society. This philosophy connects biblical spirituality with social responsibility. Dr. Evans teaches that the church, not the government, is the best social service delivery system since it is closer to the needs of the people, offers the largest potential volunteer force, has facilities for outreach programs, and provides a moral and spiritual frame of reference for making right choices.

Martin Luther – In His Own Words  —  Another FREE audiobook –compilation– from christianaudio.com. If you didn’t know yet, October 31st is Reformation Day. “Most all Christians know the name Martin Luther. Less familiar, however, are his words. This compilation of many of Luther’s most important writings serves as an excellent introduction to those new to Luther. It also provides a fresh medium for people familiar with his writing.”

Ten Reasons for Expository Preaching — Lately I have been revolting against moralist, culturally relevant, and politically charged sermons.
